

About the Project
Beauty care products were the center for this project. I designed a brand around a collection of travel essentials to be placed within a gable box package. Following general dimensions for the packaging, I created a complex dieline in the gable box style. A limit of four spot colors was imposed for the project. The capybara’s association with cute and uplifting feelings.

Through the Process
With the concept decided, two logos were created for this item, one for the parent company, Carson&Cole®, and one for the product itself. BeautEssentials® carries the necessities for hygiene, particularly those needed when traveling. Aspects of travel were utilized throughout the design, including a packing list featuring the item’s contents, and the exciting call for adventure waiting to be answered in an enticingly empty check box. In deciding the colors for this project, vibrancy was the first thought. However, upon testing a softer palette, the gentle hues proved to give the item a comforting feel, making it even more assuring to have next to you on your outing.
